File: Holiday Pay

Dear Sirs and Brothers:

After numerous meetings with Labor Relations regarding their latest position on Holiday Pay, they have finally concurred with our position and the following instructions have been sent to payroll:

Per Labor Relations AVP Milton B. Siegele and the BLE General Chairmen; when an engineer works on the holiday, he/she would be entitled to overtime (time and one half) for the time worked whether he/she qualifies for Holiday Pay (additional 100 miles) or not.

Timekeeping has been instructed to pay any such claims on hand. If you have any such claims locally, please handle with the appropriate carrier representative. If you run into any problems collecting these claims have the carrier representative contact Randy Luther in labor relations or contact this office for further assistance. Claims that have been received in this office will be handled accordingly.
